Founded by Dexter Teope, Flamesistor Technology is a pioneering fire safety innovation company dedicated to protecting lives and property through advanced flame detection solutions.

Our flagship invention—the Flamesistor Sensor—represents a breakthrough in microtechnology, capable of detecting flames within seconds across environments where traditional smoke detectors fall short.

The journey began in 2013

When Dexter experienced a garage fire caused by an unattended soldering iron. That moment sparked a decade-long mission to rethink fire detection in overlooked spaces like garages, laundry rooms, outdoor kitchens, sheds, and even parked vehicles.

In 2014, Dexter revisited an early invention from his childhood—HymenSense, a rodent trap sensor made from organic island materials. Through experimentation and engineering, he discovered its potential to detect flames. Within three months, the first flame-activated prototype was born: the Flamesistor Sensor.

By December 2014, Dexter had built eleven sensors using FDA-approved and RoHS-certified materials, testing them annually for ten consecutive years to ensure accuracy, durability, and reliability.
